Luego de un declive del 3.3% en los últimos días, peso registra ganancia.Esperan acuerdo por paquete de ayuda contra Covid-19.

El peso mexicano se apreciaba el miércoles después de seis sesiones consecutivas de pérdidas, en un mercado atento a las negociaciones de un paquete de estímulos en el Congreso de Estados Unidos.

La moneda local cotizaba en 22.4885 por dólar, con una ganancia del 0.70% frente al precio de referencia de Reuters del martes, cuando llegó a hundirse a niveles no vistos desde el 1 de julio.

En una nota de análisis, la firma local Banco Base atribuyó el avance del peso a “una corrección” y dijo que esperaba que el resto de la jornada oscilara en un rango de 22.35 a 22.70 por dólar.

Los negociadores de la Casa Blanca prometieron trabajar “sin descanso” con los demócratas del Congreso para buscar un acuerdo sobre un nuevo paquete de ayuda por coronavirus antes del final de esta semana.

En las seis sesiones previas, la moneda de México acumuló un declive del 3.3%.
