El gigante tecnológico Apple se convirtió este miércoles en la primera empresa estadounidense en alcanzar los dos billones de dólares de valor en bolsa, un hito que ha logrado tras duplicar su capitalización en apenas dos años.
Apple es la compañía más valiosa del mundo y ahora la segunda en alcanzar los dos billones de dólares de mercado tras la petrolera estatal saudí Saudi Aramco, que lo consiguió tras su salida a bolsa en 2019 y desde entonces ha retrocedido.
Las acciones de la firma dirigida por el ejecutivo Tim Cook se situaron en los 467,77 dólares poco antes de las 11 de la mañana en la Bolsa de Nueva York y marcaron ese registro histórico, que todavía tiene que consolidarse al cierre, en medio de una sesión positiva.
