El sector tecnológico del S&P 500 cerró con una contracción del 5,83 %, rompiendo una racha ganadora de 10 días y registrando su mayor pérdida en un día desde marzo.

Los principales índices de Wall Street registraron este jueves fuertes caídas, retrocediendo desde máximos históricos, mientras que el sector de la tecnología sufrió su mayor caída en meses.

El promedio industrial Dow Jones cayó 807,77 puntos, lo que equivale a un 2,8% y supone su mayor caída en un día desde el 11 de junio. Por su parte, el S&P 500 se contrajo un 3,5 % y el Nasdaq Composite perdió un 5 %.

Entretanto, las acciones de Apple se depreciaron un 8 %, Amazon y Netflix registraron caídas de un 4 %, y Facebook cayó un 3,8 %. Microsoft se desplomó un 6,2 %, y Alphabet retrocedió un 5,1 %.
