El peso mexicano avanzaba el lunes a niveles no vistos desde mediados de marzo ante un mayor apetito global por riesgo debido a un renovado optimismo en torno a una vacuna contra el coronavirus.
La moneda local cotizaba en 21.1670 por dólar, su mejor nivel desde el 11 de marzo, con una apreciación del 0.47% frente al precio de referencia de Reuters del viernes.
“El desarrollo de la vacuna contra el COVID-19 sigue marcando el ánimo de los inversionistas”, dijeron analistas de la firma local CI Banco.
La farmacéutica AstraZeneca anunció el fin de semana que reanudó los ensayos clínicos en Reino Unido de su vacuna, una de las más avanzadas en desarrollo, después de obtener la aprobación de los organismos de seguridad.
