
El peso mexicano se depreciaba el viernes mientras se encaminaba a registrar su peor semana desde principios de abril, caracterizada por una fortaleza del dólar ante persistentes preocupaciones sobre la recuperación económica global por una segunda ola de contagios de coronavirus.
La moneda local cotizaba en 22.3082 por dólar, con una pérdida de un 0.73%, frente a los 22.1470 del precio de referencia de Reuters del jueves. Más temprano, la divisa llegó a caer más de un 1% en las 22.3873 unidades.
Después de que la semana pasada alcanzó su mejor nivel en más de seis meses, el peso perfila una baja semanal de alrededor de un 5.5%, y en lo que va del año acumula una pérdida de casi un 18%.
Mientras tanto, el dólar está en camino de registrar su mejor semana desde principios de abril, impulsado por la aversión al riesgo.
