El peso inició con ganancias la jornada en la que se discutirá la reforma a la Ley de Banxico en la Cámara de Diputados.
El peso se aprecia este martes después de cuatro caídas consecutivas, ante un debilitamiento del dólar por expectativas de que Estados Unidos apruebe un nuevo paquete de estímulos fiscales para hacer frente a la crisis del coronavirus.
La moneda local cotiza en 20.1922 por dólar, con una ganancia del 0.24% frente a los 20.2412 pesos del precio de referencia de Reuters del lunes.
En el ámbito local, los inversionistas pondrán su atención más tarde en el día al debate en la Cámara de Diputados de una polémica reforma a la Ley del Banco de México en materia de captación de divisas.
La iniciativa, que ya fue avalada por el Senado, ha sido calificada como una amenaza a la autonomía de Banco de México (Banxico) y al sistema financiero local.
