El peso se perfila a cerrar el 2020 con un declive de alrededor de un 5%, su peor desempeño en cuatro años.

El peso se apreciaba el jueves en una sesión que se anticipaba volátil debido a ajustes de posiciones y un bajo volumen de negocios por el periodo vacacional de fin de año.

La moneda cotizaba en 19.8460 por dólar, con una ganancia del 0.22% frente al precio de referencia de Reuters del miércoles, pero se perfilaba a cerrar el 2020 con un declive de alrededor de un 5%, su peor desempeño en cuatro años.

Analistas dijeron que la mira de los participantes continuaba puesta en las medidas de confinamiento ante el creciente número de casos de coronavirus, mientras avanzaba la distribución y aplicación de vacunas contra el Covid-19 en México y el mundo.
