El peso se ve beneficiado de una baja del dólar tras el reporte de la inflación en EU, donde se prevé el aval a un nuevo estímulo fiscal.

El peso se aprecia este miércoles después que el mercado conoció datos de la inflación en Estados Unidos durante febrero que cumplieron con las expectativas, lo que hizo que el dólar retrocediera.

La moneda local cotizó al inicio de la jornada en 21.0260 por dólar, con una ganancia de 0.76 frente a los 21.1880 del precio de referencia de Reuters del martes.

Un plan de estímulos fiscales en Estados Unidos para hacer frente al Covid-19, que este miércoles podría recibir la aprobación final en el Congreso, ha generado temores de que una rápida recuperación de la mayor economía mundial traiga consigo un repunte inflacionario.

Estas preocupaciones han provocado fuertes alzas del dólar y de los rendimientos del Tesoro de Estados Unidos.
