Infosel, mayo. 27.- Los precios del petróleo operaban con desempeño, ya que la preocupación por la demanda en India y el potencial aumento en los suministros iraníes siguen eclipsando el optimismo sobre la temporada de conducción de verano en Estados Unidos y Europa.

El precio del barril de petróleo estadounidense, o West Texas Intermediate (WTI), ganaba 0.02% a 66.22 dólares por barril. En tanto, el precio del crudo del Mar del Norte, o Brent, bajaba 0.23% a 68.71 dólares el barril.

Si el WTI sostiene sus ganancias subía por quinto día al hilo, mejor racha en 15 semanas.

Irán y las potencias mundiales han negociado en Viena desde abril para elaborar los pasos que Teherán y Washington deberían tomar para asegurar el levantamiento de las sanciones contra Irán, incluido su sector energético, a cambio del cumplimiento iraní de las restricciones a su trabajo nuclear.

Pero para la Organización de Países Exportadores de Petróleo y sus aliados, un grupo conocido como OPEP+, ello será relevante para evaluar si cambian los planes para aliviar las restricciones a la producción ante la perspectiva de que la oferta iraní regrese al mercado.

En tanto, las refinerías japonesas necesitan al menos tres meses para reanudar las importaciones de petróleo iraní, incluso si las conversaciones nucleares conducen a un acuerdo y al levantamiento de las sanciones, dijo Tsutomu Sugimori, presidente de la Asociación de Petróleo de Japón.
