Infosel, julio. 14.- El tipo de cambio avanzaba por primera vez en tres días ante el dólar, ya que los inversionistas mesuraban algunas apuestas sobre el billete verde previo a la comparecencia del presidente de la Reserva Federal (Fed), Jerome Powell.

En estos momentos, la moneda nacional avanzaba 0.5% en el mercado spot para operar en 19.95 pesos por dólar. En tanto, el índice dólar o DXY –que mide al dólar frente a seis rivales– retrocedía 0.36% a 92.42 unidades.

Los expertos auguran que el dólar siga la dirección del testimonio de dos días de Powell ante el Congreso, pues esperan que el banquero central convenza a los congresistas que las medidas laxas seguirán siendo funcionales a pesar del aumento de la inflación.

De ahí que los inversionistas estarán buscando pistas sobre cuándo el banco central podría considerar reducir su estímulo y si aún mantiene la opinión reiterada de que una mayor inflación es transitoria.

«Si bien la Fed ha señalado que la misma es transitoria, los mercados estiman que las tasas de interés deberán elevarse para mantener la inflación bajo control», escribieron analistas de Ve por Más, en un reporte.
